Early settlers in Kentucky built primitive cabins as temporary shelters to survive the harsh conditions of the frontier. While most of those cabins didn’t withstand the test of time, our Cabin Pine mantel acknowledges their struggle to tame the wilderness and use the resources around them to put down roots.  This timber beam mantel is molded directly from a 6” x 6” timber beam and perfectly captures the unique characteristics of this piece of history.

Featuring a unique transition from square to round edge, this distinctive log mantel captures the rustic imperfections of primitive Kentucky craftsmanship.  It showcases multi-level splits, nail holes, deep checking, knots, and saw marks.

The Cabin Pine Rustic Mantel replicates the original beam mantel in exquisite detail. Originally designed to mount over a traditional fireplace, we have found that the Cabin Pine Rustic Mantel also looks great when mounted over more contemporary linear fireplaces. Blending vintage character with modern elegance, this rustic fireplace mantel complements a wide array of decor styles.

Recreated in fireproof Burncrete™, this noncombustible mantel enables closer placement to heat sources, making it a safe and ideal option for mounting a TV above the fireplace.

The Cabin Pine mantel is molded directly from a 6” x 6” timber and perfectly captures the unique characteristics of this piece of history. Features include, multi-level splits, unique conversion that transitions from a squared surface to a pole wane, fastener artifact damage, insect damage, deep checking, knots, and saw marks.

Lexington Hearth products are individually hand-cast and hand-painted products and will have minor variances in color, weight, and final dimensions.

Certified Non-Combustible ASTM E136 Standard Test Method for Behavior of Materials in a vertical tube furnace at 750 degrees Celsius.
