We offer customization on our non-combustible mantels only—including the full Bluegrass Collection and the non-combustible models from the Architectural Collection.
Length Adjustments for the Perfect Fit
Most Lexington Hearth Mantels are available in standard lengths of 48”,60", 72", and 84" lengths. But every home is different—which is why we offer the ability to both shorten or lengthen your mantel to achieve the exact fit you require.
Example: A 60" mantel can be shortened to 49" or an 84” non-combustible mantel can be shortened to 80” or even 74 inches.
Lexington Hearth also offers a 24” beam extension for most of our non-combustible mantels. The extensions are perfectly matched to the individual model of your choice, so that when the joint is covered between the main beam and the extension is covered with our decorative brackets, it gives the apperance og one uninterrupted beam.
So, if you need a 100-inch mantel for your space, you would order a 24-inch extension and pair it with a custom 76-inch main beam. Add in a set of decorative brackets and you're done.
This ensures your mantel looks proportionate to the fireplace and wall, avoiding undersized gaps or oversized overhangs.
The ability to create an exact length is also invaluable when designing a mantel floating hearth combination, so popular with today’s linear gas and electric fireplaces.
